Mystery boxes are not mysterious!

As we all know, packaging is regarded as the last but essential part of most production. Good packaging not only wrap up things to keep them safe and show prices and/or descriptions of the products, but a part and extension of the products, a gift showing respects to the products as well as the people who purchase them. 

Nowadays, paper packaging becomes popular since it is eco-friendly, low cost and beautiful. As one of the trendiest paper packaging product, how is a mystery box being made?

Step 1 Choice of paper

  • Coated paper
    Coated paper is usually used to make album of painting, postcards and colorful brands. It is elastic, good water-resistance and color expression

 

  • White card paper
    White card paper is usually used to make paper box, hangtag and paper bag. It is smooth, straight and even.

    Corrugated paper is usually used to make paper box to carry heavy products. It is really durable but easily affected with damp.
  • Specialty paper
    Specialty paper is usually used to make name card, decoration and artwork. It is numerous in variety but expensive.

Step 2 Cutting

Usually, after choosing the paper, we use the cutting machine to get the size fitting our printing machines.

Step 3 Printing

This is an exciting step that we can put any pictures we like on our product. No matter how complex is the picture, we can easily get tens of thousands sheet per hour.

Step 4 Hot Stamping

Hot stamping is a lithography printing process that uses heated image molds or stamping dies to transfer metal foils or pre-dried inks onto a surface. It makes the picture clearer and bright-colored.

Step 5 Lamination

Lamination is the process of applying a thin layer of plastic to paper or card sheets to enhance and protect the printed matter.

Step 6 Die Cutting

Die cutting is the process to cut the paper into the exact shape we want.

Step 7 Hand-Making

We fold the paper and we get our beautiful mystery box.
